Our Chefs
Dejan Karapeev, a celebrated Macedonian chef, has built an impressive culinary portfolio by the age of 30. Known for his culinary expertise and the magic he creates in every dish, Dejan remains grounded in simplicity and humility despite his widespread acclaim. Drawing from his experience along the Adriatic coast, he authored his first book, From the Depths of the Sea, featuring his unique recipes focused on fresh fish and seafood—ingredients he has had the privilege of sourcing fresh and preparing with his own distinctive touch.
Dejan’s favorite cuisine is Mediterranean, a beloved choice across Europe and beyond. For years, he has embraced this style while cooking aboard ships, where the abundance of Mediterranean ingredients allows him to effortlessly create flavorful dishes. With over 100 cruises under his belt, he notes that this cuisine has never failed to delight a single guest. Recognized as the best chef along the Adriatic, Dejan also owns a restaurant in Split, where he continues to share his passion for Mediterranean flavors with a loyal following.
